This Saturday’s Susanville Symphony performance will be held in a new venue – the 130-year-old, meticulously renovated, barn at the Smith Farm off Richmond Road.
The ‘Legends of the Fall’ concert will feature the symphony playing songs that ‘tamed the west’ and, in the words of musical director and conductor Ben Wade, it looks to be a ‘good old country hoedown.’
Grab your partner and do-see-do to songs like Country Road, Yellow Rose of Texas and Hoedown, from Aaron Copeland’s Rodeo.
Beer and wine will be available.
The second performance of the symphony’s season will begin at 7:00p.m. and presale tickets are $35. Tickets at the door will be $40 each.
The Smith Farm is located at 472-750 Richmond Road.
Tickets are available at the Lassen County Chamber and at Margie’s Book Nook. For ticket information call 1.530.310.8111 or visit www.thesusanvillesymphony.com.
