A Westwood man was arrested by Lassen County Sheriff’s Deputies Wednesday for allegedly possessing a 9mm handgun despite being a prohibited felon.
On July 17th, at around 1:30p.m., a man identified by the LCSO as Chance Tolen was contacted by Sheriff’s Deputies in the Red River Forrest LLC area near Westwood.
A loaded weapon was found in his possession and subsequently booked into evidence.
Tolen was booked into the Lassen County Jail on $35,000 bail.
