Longtime Susanville resident Jacqueline (Jackie) Ithurburn passed away October 9, 2013 at Manor West Skilled Nursing Facility in Sparks, Nevada. Her last days on earth were spent with her family by her side.
Jackie was born March 22,1935 to George and Margaret (Corvello) Campidonica in Merced, California. She attended local schools and graduated from Merced High School. Robert Eugene Winkler left this world on Aug. 30, 2013 after a short battle with cancer. Bob came into this world on April 24, 1934 in Sterling, Co. Bob was the son of Fred and Clara Winkler, both German immigrants from Russia. Bob graduated from Sterling High School on May 27, 1952 He embarked in a number of different jobs including stints with the railroad and concrete work in Sydney, NE. He entered the Army on March 19, 1954, during the time of the Korean conflict. Upon his discharge in 1956 Bob moved west.

Richard Paul Dallimore passed away at Banner Lassen Hospital on Monday, July 8th, 2013 after being ill for several months. Pappy, as many friends called him, was born May 17th, 1923 in Pasadena, CA. He was in the Navy December 7th, 1941 when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor and received the Purple Heart. He also served in the Air Force Reserves. He worked several jobs before retiring after fifteen years as a truck driver.
