Cody Lee Mitchell Tapp was born on August 31, 1986, in Visalia, California, to Lorrie Robinson-Tapp and Tracy Tapp. Cody passed away on July 14, 2026, in Susanville, California, where he lived most of his life when he wasn’t living in Imperial Beach.
He is survived by his three children, Braylee, Haylee, and Hudsen, who reside with their mother, in Susanville. His children meant the world to him.
He is also survived by his mother, Lorrie, and his siblings, Chandell Ontiveros (Adrian), Cassie Moline, and Cylan Moline. He is also survived by his father, Tracy, and his siblings, Brittany Walkling and Randall Tapp.
He is survived by his grandparents, Joyce and Tim Reinertson, and Ronda and Bud Werner. He is also survived by his Aunt Talisyn Robinson Hodson, Aunt Jackie Jones-Reid, and Uncle Kurt Tapp.
Cody resided with his good friend/roomate who was like a brother to him, Josh Beilin, along with his girlfriend, Amanda Reeves, with whom he found True love and compassion later in his life and he planned to Marry her, both also survive him.
Cody was preceded in death by his stepfather/father Dylan Moline , Grandfather, Mitchell Robinson, his uncles, Clint Jones and Uncle Adam Reinertson.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, August 15, at the Assembly of God Church on Richmond Road in Susanville CA at 1:00pm.
