Fire fighters and emergency personnel battled a fierce blaze at a residence near Richmond School Wednesday night after arriving on-scene at about 9:45 to find the single story dwelling fully engulfed.
Crews managed to keep the conflagration from spreading to neighboring vegetation and nearby houses despite wind-driven embers landing up to one-half mile from the fire.
One patient was reportedly treated for smoke inhalation injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and we will have more details for you as soon as they become available.
