Lassen County Office of Education: Communications Support Specialist
The Communications Support Specialist is responsible for providing timely and accurate information to employees, districts, families, communities, and other educational partners; supporting LCOE leadership and staff with communication-related issues, including crisis communications and community relations to help provide collaborative leadership practices for educators and administrators; and creating a variety of materials and tools to facilitate effective and uniform communications of LCOE initiatives, priorities, and positions to a variety of audiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
Three (3) years of experience in the development, design, and implementation of communications/public relations strategies and related media, including online and print materials.
Possession of a Bachelorās Degree with a major in public relations, journalism, communications, advertising, graphics, or a closely-related field, or;
Possession of a combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelorās Degree with a major in public relations, journalism, communications, advertising, graphics, or a closely-related field, and three (3) years of experience in the development, design, and implementation of communications/public relations strategies and related media, including online and print materials.
Salary:
$31.38 per hour. 8 hours per day. 12 months. Medical, dental, and vision insurance provided for employee and family. Cap in place.
