Lassen Lady Grizz Soccer won over Anderson Cubs with a shutout 2-0. Thanks to goal keeper Amanda Cook and the tight defensive wall, Shelby Junette, Jennifer Millar, Kelcie Mendonca and Bri Mendonca. Mid field was strong with Portia Martin. First goal was pushed thru by Frances Lopez with an assist by Greta Porfiri. Second goal to the back of the net by Greta Porfiri with the assist by Hailey Chittock. Head Coach Jim Ayers praises a game well-played.
Boys soccer Anderson Cubs 5; Lassen Grizzlies – 2. Score at half time was 3-1. Goals made by Jayce Gray and Chas Fredrickson with both assists by Jake Morgan. Head Coach Andrew Fisher praised the play of Jake Morgan, Rafael Hechurie, and Jesus Victoria. Next game Tuesday, January 15 at U-Prep in Redding boys at 3:15pm; girls at 5:15pm.
