Lassen Family Services CASA Program will be holding a Superhero themed 5K fun run and one-mile walk May 19th, to help support programs for abused and neglected children in Lassen County.
The event, which starts at the Senior Center on Sunkist Drive, will be family friendly with the walk and run, Hulk and Minions racing cars, fire and police equipment, Lassen County Sheriff’s Deputy Meyers with K9 Hank, a costume contest, a BBQ lunch and more.
Registration includes a T-Shirt to the first 200 sign-ups, entry into the 5k run or one-mile walk and the BBQ lunch.
Adult registration is $20, kids 12 and under are $10, and family registration is $50 for two adults and two kids. $5 for each additional child.
If you are only having lunch and not participating in the run a ticket will be $5.
You can pre-register at Eventbrite.com, mail-in or walk-in to Lassen Family Services’ office at 1306 Riverside Drive in Susanville.
On-site registration starts at 8:30 and ends at 9:45 the day of the event. Runners will start at 10:00 with walkers following.
Early registration is encouraged so that you get the right size T-shirt!
