Lassen High Varsity baseball team won 2 of their 3 games in their first tournament of the season at Foothill high school.
In game one they beat Trinity 12-0. Garrison Collier had 7 strike outs and gave up only 1 walk. Daniel Perry had a double, Colby Chavez a base hit, a double and 2 RBI’s, Joey Beck had a base hit, a double and 2 RBI’s, Ryan Sharpe had a base hit and 3 RBI’s, Jarrell Cunningham had a double and an RBI, Logan Loflin had a base hit and an RBI, and Jaylin Ford had a base hit.
In game 2 they beat Enterprise 6-4. Joey Beck had 6 strike outs and gave up 2 hits. Jarrell Cunningham had 1 strike out and gave up 1 hit. Daniel Perry had a double, Colby Chavez and Joey Beck each with a base hit a piece, Ryan Sharpe had 2 base hits and an RBI, Jarrell Cunningham had 3 base hits, and Logan Loflin had 2 base hits.
In game 3 Lassen lost to Shasta 10-4. Pitching for Lassen were Ryan Sharpe, Logan Loflin, Jarrell Cunningham and Jason Money. Daniel Perry, Colby Chavez, Joey Beck, Ryan Sharpe, Logan Loflin, Garrison Collier and Tyler Winn all had base hits.
Lassen travels to Oroville for a tournament next weekend.
