Is your player ready to step into the net and shine? Lassen Youth Soccer is hosting an exciting Goalie Training Session open to all players in grades 2nd and up. This unique hands-on training opportunity will take place on Saturday, August 8th, at Ranch Park in Susanville.
Led by Len Findlay, a former professional soccer player and current Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach at Chico State University, the clinic is perfect for goalkeepers of all experience levels who want to build their skills and boost their confidence just in time for the season.
Because the event is fully open to the public, participants do not need to be registered Lassen Youth Soccer players to attend, and local coaches are highly encouraged to come out and learn.
The registration fee is $35 per player, which also covers the attendance of their coach. Training is divided into two age-specific sessions. The first session runs from 10:00a.m. to 11:15a.m. for players in grades 2nd through 6th. The second session runs from 11:30a.m. to 1:00p.m. for players in grades 7th and up, and adults are welcome to participate as well.
Participants should bring plenty of water and are encouraged to bring their own goalie gloves if they already have them. To secure a spot, please register in advance using this sign-up link.
Registered players will receive an email reminder 48 hours prior to the event.
Payment will be collected on the day of the clinic at the registration table by a Lassen Youth Soccer representative. Please note that payment must be made in exact cash or by check made payable to Lassen Youth Soccer.
