Head out to Eagle Lake RV Park this weekend, August 29th and 30th, for some community fun at the Amateur Rib Cook Off. Admission is free, and all proceeds from the event will go to support American Legion Post #162.
The festivities kick off on Saturday with an SXS Poker Run from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m., costing $25 for the first hand and $15 for each additional hand. Later that afternoon, teams can take part in a Corn Hole Competition running from 4:00 to 6:00p.m. for $25 per team, followed immediately by raffle prize drawings at 6:00.
On Sunday, attendees can enjoy the main Competition Rib Cook Off, where delicious plates of ribs and sides will be served up for $10 each. Along with the featured events, there will be plenty of extra activities for the whole family to enjoy throughout the weekend.
Eagle Lake RV Park is located at 502-705 The Strand in Spalding at Eagle Lake.
