The Lassen County Arts Council is bringing back the best creative trends of the late ’90s and early 2000s for a nostalgic art class called Ancient Arts. Hosted by local elder millennials Rob and Danielle Cannon, this hands-on workshop invites kids aged 8 to 12 to step back in time and learn classic crafts of the era.
Participants will craft their own duct tape wallets, create bead buddies and finally master how to draw that legendary “S” symbol that covered every notebook back in the day.
The fun takes place on August 12th from 1:00p.m. to 3:00p.m. at the Art Gallery, located at 807 Cottage St. in Susanville.
All supplies and snacks are provided, making it an easy afternoon of creativity and memories in the making.
