Rosemary Brush, 88, passed away in her home on January 10, 2016 surrounded by her family into the presence of her Lord. Rosemary was born August 12, 1927 to John and Marie Roos in Beaverton, Oregon where she spent most of her early years. Rosemary and her husband moved to the Bay Area in 1954 and raised their three children. She resided in the Susanville area since 1980 with her husband Thomas Wayne Brush who preceded her in death September 2011.
Rosemary and Wayne enjoyed their RVs and traveled extensively in the United States, often spending winters in Arizona....
Lorraine Langley Yarbrough
Lorraine Langley Yarbrough passed away on November 19, 2015 in Reno, Nevada with her family at her side. Lorraine was born on March 26, 1922 in Chelsea, Oklahoma, the daughter of Charles and Emma Patton Langley. The family moved to Susanville in 1924.
Lorraine attended local grammar schools and was a member of the Lassen Union High School Class of 1941. She was a member of the Lassen High Alumni Association,a charter member of the Susanville Chapter of the Women of the Moose, and a past member of the Susanville Rebekah Lodge #101.

Edward M. Perez, 80, entered unto eternal rest Thursday, December 3, 2015. Ed was born and raised in New Braunfels, TX, and made his way at age 19 to southern California, where is older brother and family live.
Ed became a fender/body man, and always had a job wherever he went. He came to Lassen County in the mid-1970’s; at one time working in the group-home setting for several years. Richard Garoppo went to his heavenly father on December 2, 2015 in Susanville, CA. Born October 13, 1932 in Herndon, CA. He was a Captain in the United States Air Force. Dick and Babe square danced with the Susanville Center Wheelers and made many friends along the way. He served the community of Susanville as a local locksmith for 26 years. He retired in 2012 because of kidney failure and was doing dialysis.

Leota Mae Wharton, also known to many as Otie, was born in Sacramento CA on December 8, 1920 and passed away November 17, 2015 in Susanville CA. Leota graduated from Lassen High School in 1939 and married her high school sweetheart there after, her late husband James L Wharton. Leota spent the majority of her years in Susanville where she raised her three sons. Leota lived a great life of almost 95 years. Many will remember her wit and sense of humor.

Janice is survived by her son and daughters, Clayton and Patty Gunderson, Gaylene and Michael Schweitzer, Arlene and Jim Brown, grandchildren, Jason Schweitzer, Matt, Melinda and Erik Brown, Gabriel and Nicole Camacho, Keegan, Kelsey and Kirsten Gunderson, and great grandchildren Ella, Eli, Collin Beau and Joey.
